I've been around for a while. Since 93', I've been learning the game from the older producers like Studio Tone, DJ Daryl, Mike Mosely, Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, and all. Not saying that I know all of them, but I can say that I've learned a lot from them. So doing that, I have been trying to create my own thang out here. I started of producing for the local artist out here in Sacramento. I can't really remember My 1st time in the studio, but I do remember watching Studio Tone at work one day when he was recording our session. From that day on, I've been wanting to be a producer and studio engineer. So after that, I started to mix peoples songs to make them sound professional. Being that I was a DJ growing up, I felt I new how to blend levels in music to make it sound even. And that's what the locals was missing in my circle. So I stepped up and started bookin studio time on my own just to make beats. If I liked a beat, I would just do a song to hear how it would sound. That's what made me start rappin'. But it also got me noticed as a producer. So I started workin with local artist like Sicx & Brotha Lynch Hung, Big Hollis, Skanless, C.C.H. and a lot of people you wouldn't know. So that's how I got my name and learned a lot about the game. If you know any of these artist, check it out and see what it do. After that, everybody started doing there own thing, so I had no choice but to do my own thing. But my overall out look was for us to be one. So all the madness you see going on from Sac could've been way bigger than what you see from the Black Market days. Believe I tried my best to show the city how we should atleast try and do it. But to each his own. Movin' on to 2001-02, Lynch was starting his indie label, so I decided to click up wit his movement and push my name a little futher. So he help me put out my 1st solo CD, E-Moe "Ghetto Gospel". It did pretty good and the replies I get are what keeps me going to this day. After that, we put out the "While U Wait" DVD, which showed me that I had a lot of different hats to wear. Director, producer, editing, graphics, all that. So I decided to hook up with my hoime J-Killa because he had a lil studio set up in his house, and I wanted to learn more about this Pro Tools everybody's been talkin' bout. So what better way to that then to record a record, or have plan. So we recorded E & J "The Paperchase" CD and put that out in 2003. Next I helped my boy D-Dubb put out his CD. He's known for singing the hooks on all the Brotha Lynch Hung hits like "Refuse 2 Lose" and others. It was time for him to do something, so we put together his debut "Mr. Simpson(Hip Hop Soul Vol. 1). Since then, I've been trying to become a well rounded national producer. I've seen people come and go, and I don't want that to happen to me. So when you hear or see me make it big, you'll always hear from me. I wasn't always in it for the money. But now I do have a family, I didn't graduate, so I feel I should use what I devoted so much time to learn. I feel like the game owes me, so I'm trying to get it. I don't free style, so I thought Pay$tyle was a good name for my production company. Every beat I make is like a freestyle because I don't know how to play the keys at all, but when it comes to producting, I think I could be in the room with Kanye, Dre, or any of the best, and enhance the ideal in some form or fashion. So that's only what I have time to type when it comes to tellin you about me. But hopefully that'll get it started. Holla Back. 1oo
